Mr. Carvers Biology Class

Chapter 8: Pig dissection

This litte piggy won't be storing anything when his parietal peritoneum is splayed out for all to see.

Mr. Carvers Biology Class held the coveted title of Current Champ from Wednesday, June 04, 2008 to Friday, June 06, 2008, heartily vanquishing Avaricious Oinksly to earn it. Unfortunately, brutal defeat came soon after, at the merciless hands of The False Alarmers.

This hero's magnaminous likeness was captured at the moment of glorious triumph by Sutter .

Audience

Quotes overheard while standing in the crowd that gathered to watch the carnage…

  1. Maybe an appropriate challenger could be Creationism's Trojan Horse, "seeking to overturn science education since 1925"? Or too political?

  2. Oh, you already did The Creationist. Well, give him a fake mustache and call him the Cdesign Proponentsist, that'd be about right.

    Randall | [ a ]
  3. Sutter, is "won't be storing anything" a subtle reference to the Superest Store entry below??

    burt | [ a ]
  4. Haha. I wish I were that cunning a salesman.

  5. eww... These children of the corn make Oinksly seem positively benign. And to think that these kids are our future...

  6. I'd like to request of my fellow commentors that we refrain from trying to guess what hero can defeat the current one. Part of the fun is loading the page in anticipation of what Kev and Sutter came up with. Reading a bunch of guesses the day before just ruins some of the fun, and probably limits what the artists can do as well. Feel free to post what your guesses were after the fact.

  7. I second that :D

Sometimes people will name OTHER heroes that could possibly have defeated the previous hero (for instance, in here, posting ideas for what other hero could have beat Oinksly). That's great - we love that. But when someone names a good hero before the fact, we do tend to not pursue it.

I can understand people doing it; I'd probably do it myself if I was watching. But it WOULD make things easier.

  8. I just wanted to pipe in and say that -- as a site visitor -- I'd have to agree! Refrain from the guesses.
